Go to the COGMOS area under the COG Membership tab above. Once in COGMOS under Member Links select Member List, make sure it is the Northwest Chapter and click on the s. slarson is listed there and shows an email address, hopefully it is valid because I looked it up in the membership directory and unless I am missing something it looks like he is no longer a member.

My bad you are looking for slarsen with an e. I can't find anybody in the Northwest with the last name Larsen.

In addition to Gumby's good instructions on looking up COG full members in COGMOS, you canalso  look up members by their forum name here in the forum (if he answered your question on the forum)

In the menu above (when in the forum), roll over "Members" second from the right in the menu bar
select "Search for Members"
Enter their forum name (or portion of it) in the "Search For:" box
(if you want to search their real name you need to check the last entry in the second column, also "Search by Name"  - I don't know why)
click Search

slarsen gets no results

Gumby's suggested slarson gets http://forum.cog-online.org/index.php?action=profile;u=43065  in the NW and shows him active

That does not sound like fun, scroll through my 90 pages of posts.  :truce:

That brings up the question if somebody is no longer a member do their posts go away?

Oh come on Tom.... You're an AD, surely you know about the BoD's anti-censorship stance  >:D
The only time posts have gone away is in May 2011  :breakcomp:
<--- is there any mechanism in place to deal with a non- productive, antagonistic, former non- member such as this?

Angus - my e-mail is STEVELARSON2@COMCAST.NET and here is the response to what you inquired about in a message to me.  I hope it's OK to share with the rest of the forum readers:

Hello Angus;
I replied to your posting about the crash bars and pegs describing what I put on my motorcycle.  I do not sell them, but could answer questions about what I did on my motorcycle to install them.  The Canyon Cages are made by MC Enterprises.  Here's a link to their website:
http://www.mcenterprisesusa.com/products/search/dsp_searchForm.cfm

You can buy the Canyon Cages through Amazon, which is what I did.  They are easy enough to put on by yourself, provided that you understand there is thread locker on the existing bolts.  Those existing bolts are difficult to remove due to the thread locker, and the best way is to get a 8MM allen socket and extension to remove them.  I broke a T-handle wrench trying to remove mine before I got the allen socket.  Also, be sure to get a 10 mm tap for removing thread locker from the bolt hole or you will cross-thread the new bolts.  Be sure to check the quality of bolts received from MC Enterprises, I had to return one defective bolt.

To install pegs, I purchased bolts from n3nman (and copied him on this reply).  He could provide more information about purchasing the bolts and pegs from him.

Original post -
Dear Slarson:
I like what you showed me in those pics. Thank you.
Do I buy all this from you or what?
How much for the crash bars and how much for the pegs, complete drive out?
