timeout between posts...
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:28:40 pm »
Hey Colin,
Is there a way we can lower the time between post features to something less then 60 seconds per IP?  A lot of times I will go to reply to a post and have to re-type cause I get the dreaded "The last posting from your IP was 60 seconds ago" (and of course the counter resets when it does that)

I know we need to have it to prevent the forum from getting spammed, but perhaps we can lower it to something like 25 seconds?

You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

Ask Bob his how he manage all his post. He has to post one more than every 60 seconds.
Colon is off line in his homeland for a little while.
