Ok, whats the trick to splitting the fob to replace battery??

Take a small screwdriver, put it in the slot on the FOB and pry it apart
You only need two tools in life – WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn’t move and does, use the duct tape.

If you are prying at the proper slot then it shouldn't

The trick is to use a screwdriver with a head that just fills the slot, that way when you twist it is just pops. Otherise you can bend the plastic.
