2011 Kawasaki 1400 Windshield Rest removal !

how do I delete Windshield Rest when key turned off , seems like a lot of wear and tear on motor , I would like to  leave it up !
should be a wire I can cut on ECU or ECM ????????

I don't know if you can choose for it not to move at all?  You can chose 1 of 4 positions for it to return to.  I believe if you normally have it all the way up, it will remain there if you chose that position? It is in the Owners Manual, on pages 51 & 52 for 2012 model. It is accessed thru the menu, "windshild set", and there are 4 positions to choose from. I think "4" is all the way up?

Depress the shield up/down button as you turn off the ignition, and the shield stays put.
