1300 miles
« on: June 17, 2012, 10:50:10 pm »
So i have had my 2012 black concours for almost two weeks now with 1300 miles under me.  All i can saw is I love this bike.  Power, braking, comfort, precision in the twisties, and two up riding is superb.  I can only think of a few changes i would like to make.  My lt hip gets a littlw sore after 60 or so miles, and i think it is because of bad hip, but am wondering if pegs can be lowered slightly to take pressure off hips?  Also, when i am riding in mountains, i find my hands go numb on long downhill runs... any suggestions?  So far the bike has passed my expectations.  Cheers!  bunker

Murph's drop pegs. My hips and knees take the brunt too. These really helped and there is more area for different foot positions. Don't really have the numbness prob like alot of folks. Keep the hand moving around and don't leave the wrist in one pos to long. Ga' Luck. :beerchug:

try heavier weighted bar ends for the buzzing. and if you do that might as well put the throttle meister throttle lock for them long rides..

Risers would help, but the easiest solution is probably to use your core to support yourself and keep the weight off of your wrists.
