Nice job Cliff.   :beerchug: :beerchug:  That accomplishment says a lot about the rider's skills too.  I hope to do that someday, just not as fast.

Congrats and welcome to the club. My 08 is closing on 164000 but you will soon pass us up as my 09 takes over touring duties and the 08 is relegated to commuting and grocery runs.

Big milestone.  I hit 100k on a Gold Wing once.  There is a special intuition that one develops with a big after so much time in saddle.

Big congrats!  :great:  Just curious... what year is your C14- has to be an 08/09? Do you get this mileage on long rides, commutes, or all the above?

Defiantly good accomplishment to be proud of.   :great:

And I don't mean to take away anything from that - but it does appear that is much
easier to do when someone has SOUTH in their location title.

Still very impressive.

Now the question might be do you own a 4 wheel vehicle?  And if so how many miles did YOU put on that vehicle in the same time frame?

Thanks everybody! The bike did all the work, I'm just sitting down being lazy  :).

Big congrats!  :great:  Just curious... what year is your C14- has to be an 08/09? Do you get this mileage on long rides, commutes, or all the above?

The bike is 2008 & I bought it new. All the miles are from traveling or day/pleasure rides. I don't commute or run errands on it. As a rule it doesn't get cranked unless I'm going to burn at least a tank of gas. It often sits a week or 2 at a time.

Cliff,

Great accomplishment.  :beerchug:

The bike you sold me is running great at 9500 miles now. New horns and soon to be flasher brake lights. See you at the National.

Yes I have 3 trucks, 2 for work & the other just to drive. Don't really know how many miles on the 3 combined with out doing some figuring.

I use Rotella T6 oil. It's had 2 valve adjustments. First at 64,000 with 9 tight & second at 120,000 with all of them tight.
