Replacement riders footpegs
« on: October 05, 2014, 02:43:35 pm »
Has anyone out there replaced the rider footpegs with something longer?
I have big feet (15-4E) and could do with the footpegs being longer, and maybe a bit lower.
I test fitted a set of C10 rider pegs but they put my feet too far forward for the gear change lever.
Anyone know of other brand pegs that fit, preferably rubber pegs.

Nobody? Surely someone must have swapped out the C14 rider pegs for something else?
Anyone know what other bikes have a similar fitting to the C14?
I have been tempted to fit some C10 pillion pegs but they ain't much longer.

I replaced both front and back with these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161236624804?item=161236624804&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OC:US:3160&vxp=mtr but I don't think they are any longer.

Hi,
Check out Cycle Pirate's 360 degree pegs. I wear a size 15 also. I had my seat position set back 1.5 and then use these pegs down and back to match! About the best I can do and does feel better!

Thanks guys, what I really need are longer pegs rather than lower.
I already have problems with my toes touching down when I'm hustling and don't want to make it worse.
Looks like I may have to make my own.
I do have some 2 part pegs that I can scavenge the mount for.
I may bolt some C10 pegs to that or else see what else I can find on fleabay to butcher.
The base/mount is off these pegs.
