The Kawasaki 2010 model info will be released on the week of Sept 28th. Updates to the C14 are planned, though I am not at liberty to share them just yet. You heard it here first.

Think less heat in some areas, more heat in others, and additional safety features.

Safety Features...   like in this article? or this one: http://tinyurl.com/kmufdt      --  Steve Smith, COG #3184  COG Northeast Area Director  (somewhere in south central   CT)     If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

No, not anything at all like in that article. Something completely different.

Better insulation around the tank and leg areas.   Heated grips.   Enhanced ABS with traction control.

That ZX14 green for 09 is awesome. That would be a great color.    Bionic Bob  COG & AMA member  First C14 CDA member #0220  2008 C14 & 2003 Mean Streak

I don't have any info on color, and I don't have a lot of specifics on all the changes, just some general indications of what to expect. Color is still up for grabs, and apparently legal hasn't blessed all the changes yet, so I'm not sure what all will make it to the US version.    The good news is that the bike is getting an update this year.

I heard they where going to be fitted with "wing-sized" tires  :eg:  Dave Muir  1980 LTD1000 - Rocket  1999 Concours - Rocket II  1997 Dyna - wife's  CT-COG #3649
<--- is there any mechanism in place to deal with a non- productive, antagonistic, former non- member such as this?

The information on the changes in 2010 will most likely first be released on the Kawasaki European (Kawasaki EU/UK) web site, in approximately three more weeks. Stay tuned...

FYI, I have been informed that the release date has been pushed back to the week of Oct 5th, so you will have to wait about 3 more weeks.

Well, this is supposed to be the week the info on the new bike is released. It will probably show up on the Kawasaki EU website first.    Last I heard, they hadn't nailed down all the changes that will make it to the US market, but I suspect most, if not all from the Euro model will also be on the US model. Stay tuned.

This bike is starting to look like a Boss Hoss....    Something that could never be said about a C10.  But the C14 is still an interesting bike, just not enough to warrant a monthly payment.    Yet. Maybe when they get the bugs out of it ;)  http://millerized.com/pegs  I'll be in the garage  COG 6425, CDA 111 a through g

I think Kawasaki should start a program where owners of the C10 get to try out the C14 for 3-5 years or so. :)
