2011 Seat Hardware
« on: January 22, 2019, 10:49:44 pm »
I am looking for the three metal brackets that go under the seat. There is one pair that are about half way back from the front. In the owners manual on page 122 they are referred to as "hooks".
Then I also need the hook all the way to the rear that the seat locks into. Again on page 122 this piece is referred to as "projection".
Can anyone help me? You can not purchase them separate. They come as part of the seat.
Thanks, Woodie

you are correct, rare as hens teeth to find "loose" as they came on the seat..

iirc someone here actually made up a bunch of the "hook" ones, te ones mid point that have the hooks on them...

Just asking "why" you are looking for some? got a seat without them?
seat hardware for both this bike, and also historically the C10, are notoriously hard to find, simply because anyone buying a new/refurb/aftermarket seat had to keep the original hardware because Kaw never issued them as "loose" parts.

In the past I just swapped the brackets from one seat to another. I see someone has the brackets. Cheers.
