Baldwin Motorbike Saddles is Back
« on: May 27, 2018, 04:05:31 pm »
Life is a twisting winding road and at times there are detours.  After taking a very bumpy detour I am BACK!!

In late 2016 I had an engineering oppurtunity for a local custom metal manfacturing company.  I became their V.P. of Engineering leading a great team of 20 engineers.  Being in my position though, I saw and knew things that really made it hard to sleep at night.  So I recently parted ways with the company and I am back to doing what I feel I was really meant to do.

Website is up an running.

See everyone at the National.

Love iT!

I bought a used saddle from a forum member a few years ago, and would love to have a "tune-up" by the master!

Welcome back Loren.

WooHoo!  Glad your back.  Now a real question that I need help with.  You built me an awesome touring saddle in all leather as I requested.  Love it.  I'm struggling with my sweaty butt depositing salt into the saddle and can't seam to get it out.  Is it reasonable to have the top pieces of leather replaced with a substitute to alleviate this issue?  Would it look terrible to do so.  See you in Kerrville.

That's very good news for those who DO NOT have a Baldwin saddle!  Loren built my saddle a few years ago, and it made an incredible difference in the comfort and fun of riding my C-14, and my wife would say the same.  Solo or 2-up, the Baldwin is the best decision I have made concerning my C-14.  Good luck Loren! :)
