don't mess with it...
it is set at the factory during assembly, there is nothing you can do with regards to "adjusting" it, for any benefit other than if the complete engine was disassembled into individual parts, and re assembled. Simply don't touch it.

and no, it's not a 'big' job, just one that is not recommended, nor needed on a running engine.   They cannot 'go out of adjustment' on their own.

Man of Blues is right. It does not change anything about the balance.
It's there to take up any ware in the change that drives the balance.
No need to mess with it.

Agree not going to fix your problem and is set at the factory. IT seems like the C10's guys were messing with theirs and found no Improvements could be made. I haven't read anything on it for a long while so they must of quit messing with it. Your noise is the transmission and normal. Tim
