« on: January 07, 2019, 05:24:01 pm »
Just joined the C14 family...love the bike......
Here's my Ques.: I have a ZX14 09' that I built a custom, front Valved and sprung suspension for my weight.
Don't want to give it away with sale of bike.....Do the internals interchange, could I just install in the Connie 12'

I can't promise it will suit you perfectly, as the C14 has some different weight and transfer of energy to the road, due to the shaft drive and such; But, you can pretty much remove the complete forks and everything that goes with them, from the tripple trees, and install them right on the C14.... without "gutting" them out.
You may loose the ABS and coacctive braking in the process, so consider the technology on both bikes, beforehand.

I have ZX14 forks on my 11, they are a little longer so they stick up above the tree a little

Also, have Traxxion AK20 cartridge installed.
