Electrical
« on: January 27, 2018, 06:33:17 pm »
After a valve adjustment I am putting my C14 back together. Many of the wiring harnesses to the engine, cam position sensors, radiator temp etc. are disconnected. I am working on adding hi viz rear turn signals and brake light flashers and wondered if I can turn the ignition on to test them or if I should wait until all the wiring harnesses in the front end are connected because it will cause some ECU fault.

Stand down I figured it out. I was worried if I powered on the ignition I would receive an error message the that could not be reset by mere mortals (only the dealer) however my fears were unfounded. You will receive a FI error, however that will likely remove itself when everything is connected and reports on final installation!
