Finished the install of my first farkle but....
« on: April 19, 2017, 01:02:31 am »
So I installed my first farkle - GIVI rack and GIVI 47l box and backrest. What a pain - removing faring, drilling and trying to follow the worst instructions ever. Anyway, turned out good..... but I ended up with one extra push/Philips headed pin. I counted 7 that I removed last night. Stopped then because I had to locate proper hex head screws to mount the hardware to the grab bar (supplied bolts were crap). Finished today, but only found 6 holes to take the push pins - one left over. There are 3 down each side holding the back faring on - any ideas where the extra one goes???? :-[

BTW - the GIVI trunk is a great pizza hauler....

After talking with a co-worker with a Concours 14 I realized I should have 2 left over push pins, the hardware from the rack replaces 2 under the tail, I'm actually 1 short not one over....
