How many C14's with 100,000 + miles
« on: November 27, 2014, 01:16:08 pm »
Okay so we all know there's many C10's with 100,000 + miles. How many C14's have 100,000 + plus miles. So if you have one speak up.

I'll start off, my 08' has 117,000. We had a member in south TX. with about the same as mine. He's no longer with us so I'll count his.
That's 2, I know there's more out there. Almost don't count.

I put a little over 20,000 miles on my 11' from April - October this year. A couple short trips to Northern Arkansas, a 2 week trip to the west coast and a trip to the Dragon. Snow has pretty much ended everything for this year.

KMan! Nice! I bought my bike on 4/20 and have put on 25,000 already! Just got home from the Citrus County Cruise via Miami :motonoises:

Two weeks on and two weeks off without a moment wasted. What a year. The National, Run With The Wolf, MOA Int'l Rally, Beemers in the BlueGrass rally,  British on the Blue Ridge - GA MTN Rally - TwoCreeks @ Del Rio, camped at Road Atlanta, Daytona, Barber Vintage, Tybee Island, Myrtle Beach - Asheville - ! - lots of local ROK(riders of Knoxville((lol))Rides - joined COG and ROK - met some of the nicest people in America for sure. I ate alone at an RTE because I'm stubborn, like cold rides and was only 90 min away - went to an RTE in Daytona then an eventful group ride to the AIMExpo.

Cliff - I'll join you in 100k club within 3-4 years. Not sure I can ever pull off a year like this again. Focus is on your rally and Cortez!!

If you 'high milers' Include  a pic that would be great to see how they are holding up. Cliff's looks great!

Cliff - is this open to C10s also? I wanna see every 100k bike

I live on a tiny island (BAHRAIN) so not much road to cover.

My 08 has 31000 miles on it.

My brother just bought a black 08 from a gentleman with 5 bikes and it has.... "drum roll"......2500 miles!!!   :))

Well this thread went straight from high mileage, down to who has the lowest mileage  :-[.

Thanks for posting lather. This was not for bragging rights or anything like that. Like lather said, not really even a big deal. I was mainly just curious because these bikes are starting to get some age on them. There has to be more out there.

I know of at least two other 08's with 100,000 or very close, from the other forum. One posted about hitting 100,000 a couple years back. He's no longer active on the forum, probably moved on. Also I am pretty sure BDF hit 100K this year.

Mileage varies drastically, according to ones circumstances. I know a guy that does 100,000+ every year on a Goldwing.
He used to post regularly on http://www.wfr-ridersclub.com/miles/miles.asp until some members questioned his validity and he got mad and quit. I  was dubious as well but I later heard from reliable sources that he is legit. AS of 12/31/12 he had 1,640,000 lifetime miles!  :-\
