I bought one! WOOHOO!
« on: July 30, 2018, 07:59:27 pm »
I picked up a 2015 Black C14 with 8990 on clock this morning. The PO had installed a Kawi top case, 2" risers, Snake Skin tank protectors, Michellin RP4 GTs and provided an extra main fob and a bike cover. Pretty happy with it for $10k (with tax) out the door of the consignment dealer.

It SO much smoother and "easier" to ride than my previous Vulcan 1600 Nomad. I have to smile when I get on it as I've seen the comments on how (top) heavy you previous sport bike guys say it is. For me it's "OMG is thing light!" after handling a 850 lb+ cruiser.    ;D

I've done my COG membership application, transferred the warranty (good to March '19 & will get the KPP) and been checking out the posts from the last 2 years here.

Let the farkling begin. Hope to meet and ride with you soon!

Yeah, the MR flash is definitely on the wish list. It will probably have to wait for Christmas or a February birthday gift to myself.    :(

I did tighten up the throttle cables and got rid of most of the on/off switch affect, I think the open cable needs a bit more though. And I'm going to order Murph's shifter bearing kit today.

The heated grips were nice on the ride into work this morning.

Welcome aboard. Arizona is having a Meet and Greet September 7th and 8th in Springerville. So far there is about 15 of us signed up. Always a good time and you'll find out what Farkles you can't live without.  :)
Keep an eye on the Southwest calendar. They'll be more rides coming up.
