I really, really like my C-14, but not sure...

if I am ready for the level of commitment the guardrail suggests. The 'Gorge"-ous view was too nice to pass up, even though I knew the exposure would be off shooting into the sun. Road is very narrow here so all the rigs I passed a few minutes before made me nervous. If one has to travel for business, I still will chose this mode over others.

Beautiful place!

Is that a custom backrest thing you have mounted?  Do you have any closer pictures?

BB, that is on WA-14 just East of Camas on the Columbia River gorge. ABout 0800 as I was heading home from a quick job in Portland. Stayed the night with relatives in Vancouver. That section of 14 from Cams to Biggs junction  is awesome M/C road if it was not for the heavy semi and RV traffic with no real passing zones for miles. Many "Law requires use of turnouts if delay of 5 vehicles" signs, but no one heeds them, like me with speed limit signs I guess, so I just enjoyed the views.

SlowOne, that is a home-made top box I created out of a 1960's era magnetic tape drive/reel carry box. Had a couple around and liked the low profile. I 3D printed the mounting posts, used some wing nuts/bolts through existing holes in the luggage rack and it is solid. Holds multiple large pizzas of any brand. Comes on and off in a minute. Made another one to fit a dog carrier for when my Ginger wants to tag along.

Thanks!  Dug out a map and marked the road for future reference.
