Is this a deal for a New 2017?
« on: January 05, 2019, 12:17:50 pm »
Looking at a brand new 2017 for $10,999 plus sales tax, title and tag transfer or $12,000 OTD.  On top 0% for 12 months(then I will pay off note).

Is this a great deal or should I hard ball for more?

I think it's a good price.  I paid $14,000 OTD for my 2015 in 2015.  Although that bike is essentially 2 model years old now, there really haven't been any significant changes since 2015 other than colors and I really haven't been impressed with them.  But then again, all my bikes are black and I typically ride them until they die,,,

The dealership also gave me 20% off for all accessories bought at the time of sale.

That's a deal, get them to throw in fresh fluids, a battery and run away cause you stole it.
I see used 2016 Connies with mileage and cosmetic damage selling for that price. That should come with the warranty also. Good find!

OK guys, I visited the dealer and we have a deal worked out and I take delivery one week from today!!

Including all sales tax, tag, title, fees and everything my Out the Door Price is $12,025.88

Included in this price they threw in the 36 month Kawasaki Protection plan bringing the warranty coverage to 6 years.

Thanks to everyone for your advice and opinions.  I feel like I got a good deal.

Do the 2017's come with the tank protector? Or did the dealer install it?

I paid $10,661 OTD for the 2018 that I bought last month in Illinois. This did not include the 36 month extended warranty.

Smoking deal!......Seems the bikes this time of year up north are a bit cheaper with the long winter ahead.

Congrats. That is a pretty good deal, especially with the extended warramty, not that you would need it . I got my 2018, 3 months ago for about 1500 more OTD.

Concourses are best deal motorcycle out there.

I picked up my 2016 last year as a new leftover.  $11,900 out the door at an IL dealership.  I think you were treated well.  Congrats!! I’m excited for you!  —Aaron

Its home!!!!  The 110 mile ride home was fantastic!  This engine is a gem!

Needs:

Larger Windshield(I'm 6'1")
Throttle Lock
Possible lower pegs
Possible raised bars
Possible Seat

CANNOT WAIT to open this thing up!

Don't forget the flash. If you think the motor is a gem when stock....wait until you flash it!!

Nice! You got a great color to boot!

Lots of options to consider on seats, risers, etc.
