Red is faster than all the other colors.  That is why the bike is painted red, so the cops can see you easier.    Reed

Maybe in the Concours line, but other bikes have fast colors too. For example, anything that is Kawasaki green is FAST to me... if they offered the ZX14 or C14 in it I would need to buy one.     In the ZZR 1200 world, Silver is the fastest color. Only the 2002 is silver, and it does not have the EU evil speed controlling chip in it. Doug's is a 2003 and his will only go 169mph (by GPS) while his speedo hits 186mph and he can't rev any higher. The 2002 model does not have these limiting problems.     Although, at Roebling Road two weeks ago Doug kicked my a$$ as well as that of most folks there.     Life is good!  David in Jax COG# 7898   NE FL AAD & COG   Vendor www.dreamjobresumes.com preparing resumes for COG members and friends  I ride a KAWASAKI ZZR1200 -   Euro http://www.motorbikestoday.com/reviews/Articles/ZZR1200.htm  US http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/roadtests/2002_kawasaki_zzr1200/index.html

I think that is why the cops seem to single out red vehicles in a crowd, they are always the fastest.  2003 Concours, 55K  COG #6953  IBA 28004  http://home.comcast.net/~slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm

I don't mean to burn you but, did'nt flames go out some time in the last century?  Anywat blue flames would not look good on this color of red.  I am thinking a mural of the american flag flowing in the wind would be nice.      Reed

It's funny that you guys say that because Red never looks that fast when I'm watching it get smaller in my rear view mirror.
