Just got a 2011 Connie
« on: November 15, 2017, 02:36:38 pm »
Hello everyone been gone for awhile but I'm back. I still have my old 2000 concours that will be looking for a good home if you know of anyone looking for one. Guess i'll be reading all this new stuff to learn about the 1400. At least I'm friends with Steve in Sunny Fl so I'm sure I can get good advice from him. Hope to run into a few of y'all down the line sometime.   Thanks in advance for all the entertainment you provide   :)

Congratulations on your purchase!  If your 2011 doesn't have it already, get the Steve flash for a smooth/controllable/awesome ride and Madstad brackets for your windshield to reduce buffeting.

One other thought, keep your 2000 around for awhile to appreciate your 2011 even more and still be able to experience the magic nostalgia of the C10...

I think 2011 is a good vintage year.  I say that because my ride has had zero issues in 58,000 miles. Not even the common valve cover or cam sensor leak. It just starts every time, runs great, and goes like heck. I did see the F1 error twice for a combined .05 milliseconds, so its not perfect.   :)
Silver 2011 C-14. Previous rides: KZ-400, KZ-750, KZ-1000.  Keep the rubber side down.  Ride Fast......Live Slow......
