K ACT KTRC buttons, for???
« on: November 02, 2015, 12:47:36 am »
I have no idea what the two orange buttons are for on the left controls.  Owners manual doesnt tell me either.  KTRC traction control?  Can you hold it in and turn it off I guess?  Whats the other one for????

5,
One turns off the traction control and the other one changes the level of linked braking in the ABS system.

I downloaded a manual off the net, no mention of these switches and not in any diagrams.  Guessing the older bikes didnt have the feature,  can anyone share how you adjust the linked braking?

You must have an owners manual for a non-ABS bike as both of these functions are clearly covered in my OM.   I just checked and the downloadable one from the Kawasaki.com web site is the same.

Hi,
I understand it to mean you have to push the KTRC button each time you start the bike to turn it OFF! (resets ON at each start up) :great:

Why anyone would want to do that...... I have no idea? ;D
