KTRC Error - How do I clear the dash code?
« on: December 02, 2017, 01:35:38 am »
Put the bike in gear on the center stand to spin the rear wheel and got a KTRC error code.

I know why it happened, but I can't find (I searched) the procedure to clear the dash code.

I know there must be a dozen threads that have it, but I cannot find.....

Can someone post a link?

Cold up here know but if I remember correctly.  Either cycling the power or just going for a ride will clear it. I know I have turned it on the same way as you did.  To clear it just so you can see the display just push both buttons at the same time.
It's not a competition, It's a demonstration. "Rowan"

That code will clear itself after a minute or two of actual riding.

Thanks, men. Actually I wrote the post and then did some chores and went back to the garage later to see if I could futz with it and found the code had cleared but did not have the energy to get back into the internet to fix my post.

so, I reinstalled my ecu after Steve sent it back and everything looks great and I just have to wait for the rain to stop so I can do a test ride. I noticed that some folks who had error codes in other posts were trying to tie it to an ecu flash and I was hoping like hell it was not going to be something to do with that.
