« on: July 24, 2009, 06:50:00 am »
Any other COG members going to Mid-Ohio Motorcycle Vintage Days this weekend?(7/24thru7/26) If interested and would like to meet with other COGS, give me a call @ 419-512-1248 or email @ rfairchild@neo.rr.com. I live near the track. If anyone needs some help or possibly a quiet place to pitch a tent, I have a flat back yard. Sorry bout the late offer.  Ron

Ron,   Thanks for the offer - I didn't know about the event otherwise would have been interested in heading north for some cooler temps  and great time. Maybe next year!    BTW SECOG is having the Winding Rivers & Roads Rally event Sept 11-13 at IronHorse NC (www.ironhorsenc.com)if you guys are interested in heading south for some warmer weather in Sept.   David in Jax COG# 7898   NE FL AAD & COG   Vendor www.dreamjobresumes.com preparing resumes for COG members and friends  I ride a KAWASAKI ZZR1200 - it  Euro Review http://www.motorbikestoday.com/reviews/Articles/ZZR1200.htm  US Review http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/roadtests/2002_kawasaki_zzr120

Just got back (Monday) from the Vintage Days (my first time attending) and it was a really interesting event.  The weather was really nice except for the rain on Saturday.  Saw vintage motorcycles competing in motorcross, road racing, trials, and even a hare scramble......all in one location.  There was also some dirt track racing at another location, which I didn't get to.  All in all a lot of fun.  Oh, and they have the world's largest motorcycle flea market.  I heartily recommend it to anyone who likes motorcycles.  Also there were demo rides from Kawasaki, BMW, Ducati, Triumph, and Can-Am.    Bob Sherwood  COG #2994  COG Industry Liaison  MSF RiderCoach  Statesboro, GA

When we went out there in 2004, even my wife had a great time.  Wonderful trip back through time, listening to the old 2 strokes screaming down the back stretch......sweet sound of music!    Who did they have as a special guest this year?    http://millerized.com/pegs  I'll be in the garage  COG 6425, CDA 111 a through g
