Out with the old..in with the new.
« on: July 27, 2018, 01:36:02 am »
Hi

Saying goodbye tonight to my old faithful 2006 Vulcan 2000-been a pleasure old girl. Been riding my Connie for almost a week now

and so much more exciting a ride than a cruiser...but until my risers come..ouch my back and wrists are feeling the difference in riding

style. Here is a pic-hope it works !

Lots of ways to make it more comfortable. Risers, better seat, lower pegs etc. Warm up your visa! Look for stuff for sale on this forum too.

Get yourself some Techspec snakeskin tank pads and use your legs and core to keep yourself upright. Much easier on the wrists. With sportbikes you really want to have a loose upper body. If you’re using your arms to support yourself, you’ll become fatigued much faster.
