C14 Schedule Spreadsheet Screenshot
« on: June 17, 2019, 01:43:50 am »
Making good progress on this. Been experimenting with OfficeLibre and finally got all the conditional formatting and formulas to work.

It now checks for odometer AND date errors
Computes new interval date schedule.
Computes new interval odometer schedule.
Provides a GO/NOGO status for each maintenance item based on whichever comes first scenario.
User selectable Miles/Kilometers.

Left TODO...
Add notes/page numbers for more info in Owners Manual and service manual
Decide best color scheme.

Am I missing anything?

Still trying to decide on the best interface/layout.
This is teaching me a lot about the C14 maintenance schedule. Beats me why Kawasaki only cares about tire pressure every 1 year or 7,600 miles. I check my tire pressure weekly, almost daily.

The screenshot only shows a few listed items as I had to debug very long logic formulas for each type of date/odometer combination.

Looks like a very promising tool!  Yeah, Kawasaki does have some questionable intervals on a few maintenance items.  I'm amazed on how poorly written and confusing both the owner's manual and service manual are in places.  When it comes to servicing, all I can say is thank God for Fred Harmon's videos and the many mechanically minded folks here!

Mr. Martin,
That looks excellent! It takes a lot of work to get the taxonomy straight for some of the functions and it looks like you are nailing it.

Nice work; I can appreciated what you've done... having performed similar work for my day job, including writing VB code behind the scene, to handle button user interface and cell selection/change interactions.   :great:
