Wow I immediately tensed up for the guy. Not nice when you haven't woken up yet.

The bad part is it looks like the bike landed on top of him.

Ouch!  Just when you think it is safe to go back into the water...Actually, the rider fell into the sail boat, and the bike hit the walkway next to the boat, thank goodness.  That is going to be a hard one to explain the the insurance company...

Got to "watch out" for those corner posts.  He must have not been used to a Bike with saddle bags.  I wonder how he was ever going to turn around.  As a retired truck driver, I never ventured into an unknown area without walking the turnaround first.

If the mirrors fit, the bags will fit.....as long as you are moving in a straight line.  If you are turning, it is a different story.(yes, I'm speaking from experience) :-[

If you are riding in a straight line, you can see he turned and dragged the side case into the post!

Nope. He landed in the boat. The bike hit the dock.

That’s an old video from over 5 years ago. IIRC it was claimed to be staged by a French film crew, and planned with cameras rolling. Seems impluasable that someone would take that risk for a stunt, but that was a concsensus the last time this video showed up. That FJR was accelerating at 9.8 m/s/s.  The only time it’s faster than a C-14.  :nananana:
Silver 2011 C-14. Previous rides: KZ-400, KZ-750, KZ-1000.  Keep the rubber side down.  Ride Fast......Live Slow......

No worries... that was an FJR, the C14 is much narrower and athletic. :)

What's with all the FJR hate?   :nananana:

I would've still felt bad for the rider and the bike even if it was a C14.  :) Well, maybe...
