Stebel Air horn installation on a 2012 Connie
« on: December 21, 2017, 01:02:16 pm »
Hey guys,
I came across this on the Twisted Throttle website - http://www.twistedthrottle.ca/news-and-events/kawasaki-concours-gtr1400-stebel-air-horn-installation.html -
They show how you can youse the "Y" shape horn stock bracket to install the stebel air horn under the right front fairing (that flimsy black plastic), and I wonder if this type of installation would also work for a 2012 (i know things under the fairings changed slightly from the 2008 to the 2010 onwards.

Let me know if anyone has (successfully) attempted this.

Thanks guys!
Jeremy :great:
Best,

JD

I think that general area is identical between all years of the C14.  As always, of course, when adding on a component like this some "final adjustment" may be needed once you get in there and start fitting things.  But the general idea should work.
