Yeah, I suppose I'd get cranky if I couldn't ride 6 months of the year too.

Before gluing it with anything try calling TechSpec and explaining the problem to them. One of my tank pads had that problem and when I told them about it they sent me a new one for free.They had a bad run of them so they were glad to do it. Yours look fairly new so maybe send them a picture of it. They have great customer service.
This is where i would start,, see if they are will to stand behind there product!
