DanL, you also have to remember that his speed would be much higher if there was no such thing as cops. You have to be somewhat be mindful of the speed limits on the very breif straights between curves. The place is crawling with LEOs, and they have many places they set up traps....at least they have in the past, I did not see any my last trip.

Didn't see any, eh?  I've noticed that I never have any problems with the ones I see... it's the ones I don't see which get me!

By the way he rides I'm sure his peg feelers were gone a day or two after he bought his C14.

Great pics and great form Temecula Connie!

I just recently put a radial tire on my Guzzi and riding Skyline drive dragged the peg for the first time.  It scared the heck out of me the first time. I wasn't trying to drag the peg it's judt that the radial hooks up so much better it waqs natural to lean it a little farther

Some of which has been removed courtesy of the asphalt.  I can't imagine that the designers at Kawasaki intended the bike to be ridden as such.  The pegs on the Connie are lower then lets say a true sportbike.  Although I myself would consider the Connie a  sportbike.  A very heavy capable sportbike. OfCourse as we know tires are very important.  I ride on Michelin Pilot Road 2 (39psi. front no less, 38psi. rear)making sure they are up to temp. before it becoming a spiritted ride.

Should we be looking in the "connie droppers" section about now?

UH..... ER.... uh...well.. you see, unfortunately I was going a little too fast to get a CDA but thankfully slow enough to not get a RIP.  I thought this was going to turn into a one-ups-man-ship thread so I wanted to get my chops in early. LOL  OK, Yeah, I fell off and I didn't even get a pic.  But I bet it looked pretty stupid.   :-[
