Hi, I live in south Georgia and in the market for a black 2009 concours 14. Where can I get the best deal.     Thanks, Ted

I'm not from Georgia. But I would suggest shopping around. Play the dealers against each other. I normally tell them when I'm definitely buying something, that I'm going to buy today. I'm going to say 4 dealers. Make your best price first. I'm not going to tell the other guy what your price is. The best deal is going to sell one today. I've had very good results with this system. It forces them to give you a good price without dicking around. Of course the first guy will say that the others have the advantage. I just again tell them that I'm not giving anyone's prices. Make your best deal first. I tell them that they have one shot. Make it count.   Another option is searching deals on the Internet. If you don't mind traveling some. A lot of times you can save a lot of money. And I know that there have been some really good prices coming out of South Carolina in the past when I was looking at Gold wings.  Good luck,  Bob    Bionic Bob  COG & AMA member  First C14 CDA member #0220  2008 C14 & 2003 Mean Streak

Thanks Bob,      I checked with 3 dealers yesterday and E-bay last night. New 14 are going for $10,995 on E-bay. Tuesday I will call the the daeler that gave me the best price and see if he will match E- bay price. If he does I will be riding by Wednesday.    Ride on, Ted

Found a dealer that haad a Red 14 and willing to deal. So far I've added a windsheild, risers, front fender extender, corbin seat, and VTX 1800R grips with Throttlemeister. Going to Deals Gap aug. 27 to play with some of my VTX friends for the weekend. Would like to meet some other 14 riders, so if you see a bunch of VTX and a red 14 runing flat out, feel free to join the fun. :)

I like Bob's system. I wish I had read his post before my purchase. I got an 08 C14 ABS for 11,400. I know it's not the best deal out there, but he seems to be a good guy.

Give it your best shot.   The riding season is slowly coming to an end.  Dealers are dropping their prices to make sales quotas.    Reed

If I were you, I would hold out for three more weeks till the 2010 model is announced.
