You know it's summer when ...
« on: July 03, 2014, 02:09:36 am »
you remove your stock windscreen (here is my 2011 year stock screen)

and replace it with a 2008 stock windscreen.

The 2 1/2 inch shorter screen makes all the difference for me in the heat.
Now, back to riding.

2011   C-14.   Silver.

I took a spare windscreen and cut it down about 8 inches. I do live in Phoenix though, so it's not riding weather at all right now!

BTW, I had to tilt my head 180 degrees to see your pictures.  ;)

i resemble that remark...had my shorty stock screen on since early May...

Ill have the 2010+ screen back on sometime in Oct i suspect...

the 2009 screen may not give any coverage from the elements, but it sure does make the bike more sportbike-ish...

"Hey, is that the new ZX14?"

      uuuhh, YEAH...sure, thats the ticket

I have both heights of Kawasaki OEM screen, but for the past year I've been using the shortie because it's either hot or very hot in Dubai, and it never* rains.

I'm considering Copperdawg's C14 SportScreen, which is even lower.

* I don't take the bike out when the weather's wet because the roads become as grippy as Teflon skillet and most local cagers can't drive on damp pavement.
