Zx14 fairing
« on: October 22, 2018, 09:09:23 am »
I was wondering if anyone fitted a ninja 14 fairing?  Hey are cheap and great colors for new fairings.

I have both bikes, I don't see how it would be possible or desirable? :beerchug:

My Copperdawg sports screen never made it on the bike this summer, I replaced the windshield with a taller one, I hate spending time on the interstate with my neck aching from wind pressure, don't bogart the J ::)

I’ll leave the bars on. Maybe put a tall windshield on for the winter. Mainly the sides and front rather then piecing together used ones for the same price. Hey. Bongs are legal now dude.

The Copper Dawg although not cheap has a great look and provides very smooth non turbulent air for summer time riding but you'll definitely want the Concours screen back on as the temperature drops.  The ZX parts no fit!!!

See?  Somebody gets it!  I bet it gets confused with a ninja?

I had 2 1986 Kawasaki ninja 1000R’s. Great bikes. Smooth and comfortable I could spend most of a day riding them. Was the fastest production bike in between the ninja 900 and ninja 1100. When the concours 10 came out I thought they were ugly. Even though it was the same engine. Same headlight. Same carbs...etc. if I would have dressed up a concours 10 to look like a 1000r it would have been the perfect bike!  The 14 looks good but a little dorky. I know my naked 14 is going to scare some ppl on the freeway. LOL. IF I EVER GET IT STARTED!!!!  (No fob)
