`06 with 110K
« on: August 28, 2011, 11:03:23 pm »
As the title says my `06 has a few miles on it. It still looks good, runs good and I`m comfortable on it. I had a `99 before this one and it was the same story. Absolutely ZERO problems. But after nearly a quarter million miles I`m thinking of changing rides
Would I be able to sell a high mileage bike and what might it be worth?
my brother is in the same boat. His `02 has 96K and he is thinking of trading.

Pictures would help and yes I think you can sell a high mileage bike esp if you have a good record of service and the bike is clean. What are you thinking of going to?

Sure you can sell it. You won't get much for it but you can sell it. Once these bikes get a bunch of miles on 'em they are worth far more to the owners than the rest of the world. I remind myself of that every time I get the new bike itch.

Not sure what I would get. what ever it is has some big shoes to fillI`ve been thinking of going the adventure bike route, BMW GS, duc multistrada KTM adventure etc but the bike in that group that has my interest is the yamaha super tenere. I`d have to ride one first.
I rode a friends BMW 1150 RT. I should have bought it. He was giving it to his daughter. It was WAY more refined than the connie and he would have sold it to me right. She sold it shortly after.
