2004 bag stay
« on: October 01, 2018, 07:39:15 am »
On my last ride, I chickened out at an intersection and my friend rear ended me. Broke the LH bag stay Part#35011A-1300. I've found some new ones for 88.15. I'm wondering if there is someone who deals used parts that I might be able to get out cheaper than that. Its a 2004 Concours.

Appreciate any help.

It's also possible to repair the old antler (stay). It can be welded at a good machine shop. I've also seen them JB welded back together and reinforced with aluminum bar stock on each side of the break that was pop-riveted on.
