Accessory switch panel!
« on: September 15, 2018, 09:04:53 pm »
Hey guys just thought I’d share what i just did! Hooked up a marine switch and USB port panel, just used the accessory wire under the fairing and ran a relay to the turn signal!

Accessory wire?  Switched or constant 12v?
I ran a wire directly to the battery for my 12v outlet, so that I could charge the phone without the ignition on and plug in the tender to this port when needed.  Haven't needed that option, I ride year round!

Have you ridden at night? I had a little blue LED on an accessory switch that I just picked up at oreillys......it was INSANELY bright, and was a terrible distraction at night. I will always go red.

I did the same all the time on socket so I can charge phone when bike is off and use outlet to charge battery.
Confirmed, I have a usb charger for my phone that I have in my truck. I had to use a backseat outlet because of the brightness of the blue light. It stop lights up the backseat.

I used used an Eastern Beaver fuse block.  Best of both worlds.
