C10 Excel Spreadsheet Maintenance Schedule
« on: June 03, 2019, 01:22:29 pm »
I am in the process of building a new spreadsheet for my C14.
If you don't already have this, it's worth a look for your C10.

I currently keep track of my maintenance on paper, but would like to mirror the info in digital format as well.
I also keep notes using Google Sheets and it should import to that format as it's handy while on the road.

In short, you enter your odometer and date, and the spreadsheet tells you if you are due a maintenance item.
It has built in notes and red flags. When the item is completed, the flag goes away, and resets the interval.

File attached. Enjoy. ;)

Thanks Harry, I like that and am loading it.
I’d mark valves for mechanically challenged also.
Not that it’s difficult but if they find the brake switch difficult.... just saying LOL

As I work on the C14 version, I am seeing how I can improve the C10 version, and eventually bump it up to version 2.0.
If folks want to provide feedback for improvements, please do so.

Nice job Harry.
Can you add a sheet for front and rear tire replacement date, mileage and two additional columns, one  to enter tire model and a second for entering any comments you may have about the tire. I keep the sticker from any new tire I put on and write the date and mileage that I installed the tire, but I don't seem to keep them after the next tire goes on.
Thanks for your efforts.

Bob, Will do and good suggestion.

I'm also adding a winterizing checklist for us folks who live in the winter waste lands.
Adding a column to enter the log date for each item and tests for past due time (now in the C14 version)

Adding links to popular COG forum pages.

I just wanted to say thank you for putting everything (or close to it) into one easy to read and convenient spreadsheet. It certainly help old people like me with not having to remember everything.

The C10 Excel Spreadsheet Maintenance Schedule opens just fine in open source Gnumeric, with a minor graphics message that does not affect the operation of the spreadsheet.

Nice creation, thank you.

I don't have the time, but wouldn't it be interesting to process the entire Concours C10 tree of web posts and discussions into a multiple author shop manual? Recently I went looking for how to change the lightbulb in the Kawasaki fairing mounted clock. Nobody I looked at told how to get the bulb out of the clock. I tried and failed myself, too.
