Carb sync question
« on: June 28, 2015, 09:50:47 pm »
I'm about to sync my carbs and I have a quick question. In running the balance screws "in & out" is possible to run one too far one way or the other, or are they held in place with a retainer?  I don't want to accidentally run one all the out and have it drop down the engine, be a PITA to replace, etc.
Thanks in advance!

Ron,
You should not have to turn those screws much at all to get the synch done. If you can't get it really close with less than one turn then something else is off and needs to be fixed first. IE vacuum leak somewhere.
