Does not drop revs when shifting : results
« on: May 30, 2015, 11:37:00 pm »
Well, I got my pilot jet washers,o-rings and springs in.
Counted the turns on removal and put back the same count.
Did the awesome SISF airbox repair and free power mod. :08:
Thank you Steve.

Got everything put back together and turned the key.
Had on choke for like 1/2 a minute and had to take it off. Ran that well.
Took her for a 15 mile test ride, still expired reg and inspection, so didn't want to risk it. :-\
Ran fine thru all the gears, no spitting,or sputter, revs drop when shifting.
Just have to tighten up the throttle response and I'll be happy.
About a 1/4 inch turn before tension. I know not to tighten it too much but overall, I'm so happy.

A big thanks to all of you here for the help, ideas and education on carbs. :beerchug:

Crag, nicely done!! :great:  I have had my C10 21 yrs and still enjoy the rides and the wrenching. (most of the time :-[)  The C10 isn't great at one thing but does a lot of rides well.  :)   Stick around. There is plenty of more wrenching and a WHOLE lot of farkles that are just waiting for you!!

Enjoy the forum and all the members in it.  :) :)
