Garaged 2006 Connie
« on: April 22, 2018, 01:45:34 am »
I am heading back to Sandy Hook and my 2006 Connie that has been sitting in my neighbors garage since Oct. I'm hoping he hasn't unplugged my tender like last year. Anyways should I just charge up my battery and hope for the best, or what? I'm taking it back to Tucson this year cause I didn't ride it all that much due to the rain and grandkids. I bought it with 22,000 miles on it and now have about 31,000 miles on it two years later? I ride an 1150 bmw rt while home, but want to put some miles on it back in Arizona.

Word of advice... don't even hit the starter button... not once.... untill you remove the tank and dump it out, and add clean fresh fuel, from a new gascan... that fuel is toast, even cranking the engine over first time will gunk the carbs..
