Giving away my c10 to any forum member - SF Bay Area

After over 10 years of ownership of my 1999 C10, it's time for it to go.

2 years ago I was run off the road and into another car by a driver on their phone.  The bike did it's best to protect me and I ended up with minor injuries. Unfortunately, the insurance company totaled it out. Not wanting to let go of the best motorcycle I've ever owned, i sank money into getting it fixed. The primary damage was the lower front fairings and the brakcet that holds the front fairing and instrument cluster on. There is a scrap on one side of an engine cover, but the fairing and bags took most of the damage. I bought replacement bags, just never got around to mounting them up.

Well, then I got busy. A job that I got soon after almost doubled my commute to 117 miles per day, which I use a motorcycle to commute due to the sheer amount of traffic. The Concours was not really up to the job, so I stored her and got a cheap bike to go back and forth to work... well, that was 2 years ago.

I tried to do a valve adjustment and it's just never run since then. I'm sure I screwed something up, but I can't figure out what and after 2 years, I feel that I should turn it over to someone else to inject fresh life into this great bike.

I live in the San Francisco East Bay. You'll need a trailer to move this, but I'll help you load it.

Thats beautiful :'(  for he so loved his motorcycle, that he gave his only begotten c10 to the COG world. Ya i had a honda crx like that. $500 car and put 4k into it because of sentimental reasons and finally sold it for $100 bucks to a friend because i knew they would love it as much as me. Now its a rice rocket racer in its new life.
