Got it Home!
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:11:00 am »
I made the trip to NY and brought back a 99 Connie to Va.For some of you guys that have been in COG for a while, you may know the bike.It turns out this bike was Doug Allens and he used to be into things around here before passing away.I think he would be happy to know his bike went to a good home where his wild spirit will live on.I hope to become an active member in this group and will help out any way I can,so please let me know what you think.Heith Treglown.

Do you mean Doug Allen from Coxsakie, NY?  If so, I did not know he passed away. This is indeed sad. He & his wife Mary were great people.  Doug was the northeast area newsletter editor for a year or so.    Sounds like his bike went to a good home.  Hopefully we'll see you at some COG events and that you will consider becoming an official member of the club.    --  Steve Smith, COG #3184  COG Northeast Area Director, AMA, MSF RC  (somewhere in south central CT)     If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

Wow. I'm really sorry to hear that. He was a great guy. Please pass on my condolences if you speak with Jason again. I can empathize with him. I lost my dad in September.    --  Steve Smith, COG #3184  COG Northeast Area Director, AMA, MSF RC  (somewhere in south central CT)     If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Welcome to the club, sad to hear the news.  Let us know what questions pop up.  I am sure we can confuse you with an answer. :)  ----------------------------------  I will answer any question.  It is up to you to figure out if I should have.    <p align="left">My Photos<br

I remember riding mine home. That was a great trip. :) Nowhere near as long as yours mind you, but it was my first time on the street.
