Idle Knob Question
« on: June 21, 2013, 09:27:34 pm »
My bike seems to be idling too low. I tried adjusting the black idle knob, but it doesn't affect the idle. All it seems to do is make it so that revs go down slower when the throttle is rolled back. Very weird.

Is is possible that the screw has come loose? I don't see any way to adjust.

your bike should be idling at apx 1100 rpm. If you can't achieve it, and the carbs are clean, my strongest guess is one of the throttles is closed and it's levered #2 off the throttle screw. HTH, Steve
