Ignition Problem ZG100
« on: February 05, 2018, 12:58:56 am »
Started up my Connie in the great White North. Winter storage and was time to get some oil moving as a winter maintenance schedule. Ran fine but a few days later I went out and it failed. Lights would come on in the ACC key position but when fully turned to the right for starting all was dead. Noticeable clicking sound when turning key to the right ignition position.  Now there is no clicking sound at all. Battery is new and fully charged. All fuses in the box are fine.  Any ideas folks?

Accessory position??

Disassemble and abrasively clean all connections to and from the battery including ground points and starter relay. Do a load test on the battery, new ones can and do fail.

Good luck. Wiring can be fun.

Sounds like low battery.
