From what I here, I would double check the wiring to the coils.
Black wire should go to the left coils negative terminal, plugs 1 & 4.
Green wire should go to the right coils negative terminal, plugs 2 & 3.
I tried to post this yesterday, it didn't post, I think. If this is a double
post I am sorry.

Call me impatient, but I wish KARMA would show up a little quicker sometimes.

mmmmm
a month or so passes, and this?

what purpose does this satisfy?

if you do not try to assist, then it's kind of moot. I always attempt to assist.
it seems to be a dead issue, so ....... ride safe.

ooooooo that's a bummer Gerry, Karma is a biotch... and I respect her greatly...
sorry to hear that. Maybe some 'private messeging' and off board attention may settle that...
(kinda why I never send stuff to people without ca$h in hand anymore...)
best of luck, and hope you are feeling better dude.

Does your state have "winter blend" and "summer blend" gasoline? I live in California, I filled the Connie with gasoline from the nearby convenience store and I had seen the generic tanker truck delivering gasoline the day before. I drove 20 miles to San Francisco and left the bike parked 6 hours. I cranked the Connie and got one pop, then no start. After two hours, I had the bike towed home for $100. It sat for a week, after adding Techron to the tank I set up a manometer to observe fuel levels in the float bowl.  I could get the engine to start and as I reved it up, I could see the level gasoline in the manometer drop until the bike clearly ran out of gas and stopped. In my opinion, the neoprene float bowl needle valves swelled up, initially completely starving all four cylinders.
