Rob Check out Elvin Rivera's Concours photo galleries: http://www.pbase.com/elvin315/the_kawasaki_concours I'm sure you will find some naked bike in there. -- Steve Smith, COG #3184 COG Northeast Area Director, AMA, MSF RC (somewhere in south central CT) If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

There is more to be gained by members raising hands saying "I'll do that" instead of pointing fingers saying "nobody's doing that."

I just wish there was a way to search Elvin's pictures for keywords. It takes hours to search through them all to find that one that I want. I have seen LOTS of naked pics. Yes of Concours also. Every one is done different. That is what makes life grand. Do it your way. ---------------------------------- I will answer any question. It is up to you to figure out if I should have.
My Photos<br

bergman posted a pic of his "conie" a while back, but I can't find it now. It is one of the best I've seen, but then It isn't exactly a C-10 anymore is it? Elvin's pics of "Cogzilla" and many others are very good too. The guy who makes and sell the "lowering link" on Ebay used to have pics of his linked to that item on Ebay too. It is cannery yellow if I remember right. 1990 Aint she a pretty Tomato (the bike ofcourse) wedshots albums http://community.webshots.com/user/sawfiler64/albums/most-recent

The naked connie doesn't look half-bad. It reminds of the CB series. : coming February 2009 2007 Ninja 250: 15k miles

Rich's COGzilla bike is a nekkid bike with a small aftermarket fairing and awesome home-spun chameleon paint job. It is pretty dang sweet. Dan Bergmen's bike is more the semi-nekkid model since it retains the Connie upper fairing. As far as its nakedness goes, he only removed the sides and bellypan, made some sweet little pieces to finish off the lower edges of the main fairing and he moved the overflow to under the seat. While there are TONS of other mods he has done that both enhance the performance AND the looks of the bike, it is his attention to detail and super clean execution that make his scoot REALLY stand out. A person could do similar mods to a mechanically stock Connie and have excellent results providing they pay attention to the little things that make a bike look slick or sick (not the good kind of sick).

If you been hiding behind the Concours fairing for a while just get on a bike with no protection at all and do 100 miles. I am confused by the true rough riders out there but have to give um some respect also. It IS brutal out there. Then you will know why most only make it to the next bar. ---------------------------------- I will answer any question. It is up to you to figure out if I should have.
My Photos<br
