UNLESSSSSSS-----

If someone would transport Turbo's bike from his place in Floriduh to me in Texas I would get it going.  He just hasn't the time and resources to make it work out.  He has parts and he has the bike and he has MOST of the physical work done.  But a starting mishap may have toasted the bearings leaving him with the need to swap out the engine and essentially start again.  Can't blame him for being frustrated and ready to scrap it... especially when work and family can't spare the time and resources to permit it.

But, if some COGger traveling around the country with a trailer happened to snatch it (and his bins of parts) to Texas, I'd see to it that it went vroom again for him (only with boost) and I'd get it back to him somehow.

TED, weren't you thinking about a drive through Florida on yer way to the National from Houston?   :)

I'll be in Florida Feb 22-26 for the Sport Touring School.
Taking 2 bikes, so I won't have any room in the trailer.
But (if he could meet me somewhere) I could pick up a box of parts and haul them home in the truck?

Possibly. We are going to NOLA for Navy DIL's retirement party in a week and a half. Can anybody over your way buzz over and get it from me? Arriving 7Feb.

I'm also planning on going to the SW deserts in early March, but at this time it is still not a for sure. That would put me running straight through y'all.

SteveJ, will you have a trailer with room for his bike?
  I also retired at NOLA.
  Don't recall DIL's  ???

On our return trip from the Sport Touring School, we'll be doing a layover at P'cola to see the Naval Air Museum.
Turbo-max could meet us there with the parts.. But I won't have trailer space.

I'm pretty sure that I can make room for a fairing-less Connie, it will take a bit of doing.
