Question about oil light
« on: September 03, 2013, 03:18:58 am »
I've noticed that under hard breaking the oil light will come on for just a second. The oil level is at the correct level. Tge bike is an '06 with 11,500 miles. I've just bought the bike. So my question is this normal,or something to worry about?  I've seen other bikes do this.

Normal for an '06. Seems the tolerances were a little loose in the '06 oil pump. As long as it goes out right away it shouldn't hurt anything. Lot'sa '06s still do'in fine.
