Reflective kits for back end of my connie in Europe
« on: December 15, 2017, 04:24:53 pm »
Does anyone know of a supplier of tail brights for C10 in the UK or Europe? I also need the same for my Givi Maxia E55 top box.

I have been searching the web, but keep getting back to 'MotoReflective, MotoEquip and Realtime industries' . They all look like they sell a good product based on 3M reflective tape, but they are all in the US and don't have international shipping.

Does Larry Buck (Buck Sport Touring) ship internationally?  Might be worth a try.

K_C_M go back and add "in Europe" to your title.
The other Eu guys will see it and offer suggestions.

I ONLY buy from Realtime Industries.. Alex is freakin top notch, and I'm not sure why you dont think they will ship internationally.

From his website;
Overseas Shipping

All overseas shipping is sent via United States Postal Service First Class International or Priority International mail. Due to the extra paperwork involved due to customs requirements in each country, we mail overseas shipments every other business day. As some countries will hold up customs packages longer than others, you should receive your shipment within three weeks. If you have not received the order in that time, please contact us and we will do what it takes in order to get you your product.

Yep. that's what I want, plus the top box.  Just placed an order at Realtime industries as they do both.

Stay visible and stay safe.

Guys, may want to make sure about color.
I seem to remember a thread where one of our EU guys said they were required to have red reflective on anything on the back of the bike, and white was prohibited.

The same is true here in Washington state, but the LEO's either don't know or don't care.  Never been hassled for it.

If I were ever cited for my white butt, I'd argue that big rigs have a lot of red/white striped tape on their back ends, so white can't be totally prohibited.

Realtime supplied mine. Shipped to the UK and they do an EU version that has red rear reflective parts. Recommended :D

I went with the EU kit, but wonder if I could get away with the black here in Germany.

I think by law you need the Red EU version for rear reflectors.

Does it have to reflect red? Or just be red?  Does the EU kit reflect red or white/silver?

Not that everything that the EU does makes sense, but black that reflects red would make sense. In daylight, you really don't see them, and the red reflecting at night would meet the red requirement.

 :iagree: :iagree: :iagree:

My sentiments exactly.  My pin-striping on the sides is reflective black.  Only thing is that it reflects white/silver.  I went ahead and place an order for the EURO kit but would much rather have an understated black that reflected red.
