Only twice? Not bad... how many times did the other one fall off?
22 lbs max per case...A case of beer in 12oz bottles is ~ 32 lbs. Leave it at home.

Funny thing is, if you look at the fairing under the luggage rack area, you can see stickers that say something like "do not exceed 15lb". This is where we all put our 48L+ top cases...I don't think ANYONE with a top case can say they didn't break that limit!

My 1350-pound capacity Toyota 4x4 truck carried 2240 pounds of topsoil one day without a stumble. If you re-read that placard it clearly means "Up to 75 pounds IF NECESSARY."
