Seat bottom blues and latch alignment on a C10
« on: September 07, 2019, 04:31:30 am »
Had a hell of time getting seat latch parts on seat bottom in right position to latch. As well not to stick locked. Worked hard to get seat to be centerd on bike and in latch catch too. Wanted good fit around tank. When finally got it right marked parts position on seat pan bottom with a permenant marker. Will not have to work so hard next time! Oh oiled and greased mechanisms lightly too.

Had this happen before.  I loosened up the screws but made sure they were on the light side of snug.  Pushed down on the seat to latch it and then carefully removed the seat and tightened down the screws where they were.
